Hi!

Welcome to my blog! Harvey is back! In case anyone forgot, or if you are new to my blog, Harvey is my family's 23-foot Winnebago View. We have picked up mom from the Salt Lake City International Airport, and vacation can officially begin. We are in California and our real adventures can begin. Enjoy :)

We have picked up mom and driven to California.  We are out of the boring desert so now I am starting up my blog.  Here are some videos and pictures, enjoy!

While we were driving endless miles to reach mom by the end of the week i did some coloring.  The only coloring book we had (i can't draw) was one Amy bought in Rome, so i colored an ancient roman soldier.

We parked Harvey the Rv next to a sign clearly for him!

This was our view of Lake Tahoe from the rock we walked to.

We stopped at a scenic rest stop and instead of enjoying the scenery, we took a selfie on a cool rock.

I thought these trees (pretty much the only trees we saw for almost 3 days) looked like the trees I pretended my broccoli was when I tried to eat in in one bite, like a dinosaur, when I was little.

Where's Harvey the Rv : The Middle of Nowhere

I thought this section of salty desert looked like cheese cake with broccoli on it. That probably wouldn't taste very good and i would not want to try it, but thats just what i saw.

Silly Timber wanted to sit on the dinette, but dad had moved the big pillows onto the seat and Timber crawled up under them.  She was being a little camera shy, so this is the best picture we got.

  2. Welcome back Karen. Your imagination went wild in the dessert. Cheese cake and broccoli. What happened to the pictures of the roman soldier and Lake Tahoe? Are we supposed to use our vivid imagination to see them? Take lots of pictures and keep us smiling with your blog. Love Beach Grandma

  3. Good Morning Karen, I have had trouble commenting on Amy's blog so I am going to try with you-I was soooo excited to see that you are back. Uncle Kenny will be glad to hear someone else is coloring. Your Roman soldier is worthy of framing.Hope you have pencils or crayons to make you the "envy of evryone in elementary school"!
Like Beach Grandma, I had to use my imagination to see the sign where Harvey was parked, and Lake Tahoe. Harvey didn't try to bring the sign back as a souvenir I hope. I have also observed that in every picture I have seen EVERYONE has big smiles all the time-that makes me smile. Glad you are all enjoying your trip. Love, Aunt Debbie

  4. KAREN! I had no idea you are blogging and Amy is not. I am confused by this (yes, yes, it's true, I confuse easily). I see that all of your pictures remind you of food - I wondered what was up with that so I googled "when scenery reminds me of food" but apparently that's not a very common thing because I could not find any academic articles on the subject. Maybe Uncle Tommy can bring this up to someone at Brown... Timber looks like she is playing Crustaceans (just ask Aleigh, Andrea, Mike or Nick...) You should play too! Love, Auntie Pam xoxoxoxo

  5. PS - I see you made no reference to your Dad's birthday on this day. You did know it was your Dad's birthday didn't you? In fact, you could have bought him a cheese cake, stood some broccoli up on top, lit the broccoli and sing Happy Birthday. Then you could have your cake and broccoli and eat it too! There's still time... Love, Auntie Pam
